Imagine that the PTO wants to buy a gaming system to use at the Teen Canteens.  They will need the following:

  1. A large screen flat TV between 40-52 inches
  2. A gaming system such as Xbox, Wii or Play Station
  3. 3 different games – they need to be school appropriate games.
  4. Any necessary accessories such as controllers, remotes, etc.

Your total budget will be $1800

Create a spreadsheet in Excel so that it is like the following table:

Name your File "Video Game Budget - Your Name"

Save your file to the desktop !

All of the items above in Red will require you to insert a number or formula into that cell.

You can use the following websites to research the prices of items.

Bestbuy.com

Amazon.com

Toysrus.com

Gamestop.com

Are the words at the top of your Excel spreadsheet columns not appearing correctly?

Try one of these solutions:

   Wrap the Text

Highight the cells that you want to wrap the text in:

     1. Go to VIEW>FORMATTING PALETTE

     2. In the Formatting Palette, go to ALLIGNMENT AND SPACING

     3. Put a Check next to WRAP TEXT

You can also try this:     Adjust the Width of the Columns
